Getting to Avon Sailing Club

Our club is situated in a beautiful riverside location that is easily accessible from major routes:

  • 12 miles north of Gloucester
  • Southwest of Tewkesbury, on the west side of the River Severn
  • Approximately 8 miles west of M5 Junction 9
  • 5 miles south of M50 Junction 2

Directions from M5 Junction 9:

  1. Exit the M5 at Junction 9 and follow signs for Tewkesbury
  2. At the roundabout, take the exit onto A438 toward Ledbury
  3. After approximately 2 miles, turn right onto B4213 toward Gloucester
  4. Follow the B4213 for approximately 5 miles
  5. Turn left at the sign for Chaceley
  6. Continue for 1 mile to Chaceley Stock
  7. The club is at the end of the road on the right

Directions from M50 Junction 2:

  1. Exit the M50 at Junction 2 and follow the A417 toward Gloucester
  2. After approximately 3 miles, turn left onto B4213 toward Tewkesbury
  3. Continue for approximately 2 miles
  4. Turn right at the sign for Chaceley
  5. Continue for 1 mile to Chaceley Stock
  6. The club is at the end of the road on the right

Navigation tip: Some GPS systems may not accurately locate the club due to its rural location. We recommend using the postcode GL19 4EQ and then following signs to Chaceley Stock.
