Family Membership - Includes two adults with any number of children under 18 years residing at the same address. or under 22 if in full time education.
Defination of family membership invoked 2021
NOTE: ‘Full time education’ shall be defined as someone who is attending College or University full time
or as part of an apprenticeship receiving education via a company or college.
This may involve residing away from the family home address.
Apprentice/College/University courses may include a period in industry before completing the education;
during that time members are considered to still be in
‘Full time education’. In addition a single ‘year out’ will be deemed as being in
’Full time education’ if it is the intention of the member to start an
Apprentice/College/University course immediately following.

Single Membership - Single adult over 22 on 1 January.

Senior Membership - Up to two adults, one of which must be of state pension age, and all the children within their guardianship residing at the same house under the age of eighteen or under 22 years if in full time education or undertaking an apprenticeship at 1st January of the current year.

Youth
Single person under 22 on 1st January of the current year. Any child under 18 must be supervised by an adult. The adult need not be a member but must supervise the Under 18 while at the club. Any non-member adult supervising any under 18 is extended visitor rights by the Club and must comply with all rule and by-laws.

Associate Membership - a person who is a member of another recognised RYA club, and lives more than 50 miles from the club. Also a people attending university or college.

Visitors [Temporary Members] - members may bring up to two guests to the club. No guest may attend more than four times in a year. All guests must be signed in to the visitors book.
Other Fees

Boat Fees - Members can register one or more sailable boats. Boat park places are on a first come first serve basis.

British Waterways Fees - a British Waterways Licence fee must be paid for each boat sailed on the river. Boats without engines and under 18 ft long may be registered through the club scheme. Boats over 18 ft long, or having an engine (including outboard) must be registered directly with British Waterways.
